Biography

Justin Boyd is the primary antagonist of Price O'Neil's mundane high school life — a performative bully who thrives on audience and spectacle. He commands a loyal inner circle of cronies and "lugs," including Steve, who functions as his dedicated videographer, and Ewan, who helps close-in traps and execute physical ambushes.

Justin's cruelty is methodical rather than impulsive. He chooses high-traffic spaces — crowded hallways, public parks — to engineer confrontations where crowds can gather and maximize psychological pressure on his targets. His signature weapon is digital media: he films physical ambushes and splices them with out-of-context screenshots of private messages to construct a malicious online narrative, casting himself as a community protector defending girls from a "creepy stalker."

The derogatory nickname "Priss" — deployed extensively against Price — originated during a high school group assignment where Justin specialized in subtle verbal humiliation while contributing nothing to the project.

Despite his athletic size and aggressive posturing, Justin is entirely baseline human with no attunement to Chaos. This vulnerability was exposed dramatically when Price's involuntary kinetic overload launched him backward like he had been struck by a freight train during a hallway confrontation.

His manipulation of Elise Evans' social anxieties serves as the ultimate catalyst for the story. By publicizing Price's yearbook photo and private messages under the guise of a community intervention, he permanently destroys Price's domestic sanctuary — leaving Price with a bone-deep exhaustion and a desperate desire to escape his old life, unknowingly driving him directly into the recruitment protocols of Octavia Greenfield and the First Chaosmatic Congress.

Abilities & Powers

The Performative Bully

Justin relies heavily on an audience, choosing to thrive in high-traffic spaces like crowded hallways or public parks. He deliberately engineers confrontations where crowds can gather, maximizing the psychological pressure on his targets.

Digital Humiliation (The "Hero" Persona)

He treats digital media as a social weapon. Alongside a dedicated camera crew, he films physical ambushes and splices them with out-of-context screenshots of private messages to construct a malicious online narrative, publicizing himself as a community protector defending girls from a "creepy stalker."

The "Priss" Moniker

Justin extensively deploys the derogatory nickname "Priss" against Price O'Neil — a taunt that originated during a high school group assignment where he specialized in subtle verbal humiliation while contributing absolutely nothing to the project.

Baseline Vulnerability

Despite his athletic size and aggressive posturing, Justin is entirely baseline human and possesses no attunement to Chaos. He is completely defenseless against involuntary kinetic surges, having been famously launched backward like he was struck by a freight train during Price's initial hallway overload.
